NCDC Reports 184 New Cases Of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed one-hundred-and-eighty-four new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Naija News observed that the newly reported case by the NCDC on Wednesday night was higher than the previously reported case by 38 figures.

Covid-19: Gov. Yahaya Bello Release Test Result Of 111 Persons

The result of 111 people who were tested for coronavirus ( COVID-19) in Kogi State has been revealed by the Kogi State Government.

In a statement by Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, the State Commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy, all cases tested Negative.

He disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Lokoja, the State’s capital.

Fanwo, said that no officials from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) were available when the tests were conducted on the persons.

According to him, the testing kits procured by the State were used to conduct the tests and that those tested were picked randomly.

Coronavirus: WHO Releases List Of African Countries With Highest Cases

The Regional Office of the World Health Organization in Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, has revealed the number of Coronavirus confirmed cases in the continent.

The Health agency noted that the number of confirmed cases in Africa has risen to over 69,000 in the past 24 hours.

The UN health agency gave the update on its official Twitter account on Wednesday.

WHO further stated that the pandemic has led to the death of 2,300 people, while more than 23,000 people have been discharged.

“Over 69,000 confirmed #COVID19 cases on the African continent – with more than 23,000 recoveries & 2,300 associated deaths,” it said.
