The immediate  Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha who was forced out of office earlier this year is presently seeking ways to stop the lawmakers in the eastern province from probing him.

Naija News recalls that the state Auditor-General for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs had issued an interim audit report detailing how N19.63b fraudulently disappeared from the Local Government accounts when Ihedioha was governor.

However, In a bid to forestall any investigation, Ihedioha applied for a perpetual injunction to stop the imo lawmakers from probing him for allegedly mismanaging N19.63billion council funds  This was also contained in a suit filed on May 5 at the Owerri Judicial Division.
