Abuja: NCDC Apologizes For Error In Coronavirus Data, Releases New Figures

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday evening announced that it made an error while computing coronavirus cases for Abuja on Saturday.
The NCDC made this known in a Tweet via its official twitter handle where it also apologized for the error.
It wrote: “On the 9th on May, we announced 45 discharged cases & 4 deaths in FCT.”
“Due to system error, 32 discharged cases and 2 deaths were wrongly announced.”
“Therefore, FCT recorded 13 discharged cases & 2 deaths on May 9 2020.”
“We apologize to @OfficialFCTA for this error.”

Meanwhile, Naija News earlier reported that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday evening, confirmed 248 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.
This brings the total number of cases in the country to 4399.
