Fayemi Confirms Four New Cases Of COVID-19
The Ekiti State Government has recorded four new cases of COVID-19 virus.
Naija News learnt that the latest development was confirmed in a tweet by the state governor himself, Kayode Fayemi.
Speaking on the new cases in the governor wrote
We got information from NCDC tonight that three more persons tested positive to COVID-19 virus. Two are contacts of the medical doctor still in our care and another person who sneaked into the state before he was quarantined. This underscores the need for extra vigilance. JKF.

Meanwhile, the governor has also stated his administration is learning from the COVID-19 pandemic while acknowledging the troubling impact of the disease on economic and social activities. According to him, nobody saw the coronavirus and its devastating effect on the health sector coming when they were preparing for 2020.
