NCDC Confirms 386 New Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria
The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday confirmed 386 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria. This brings the total number of cases in the country to 3912.

Nnamdi Kanu Lists 3 Prominent Nigerians That Must Be Released From Jail After Orji Kalu’s Freedom
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has listed three prominent Nigerians that must be released from jail after the Supreme Court judgment on Orji Uzor Kalu, a former governor of Abia State, southeastern Nigeria.
Naija News reports that the Supreme Court on Friday nullified the conviction of the former governor of Abia State. Kalu was sentenced to 12 years in prison over N7.16 billion fraud by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, on December 5.
President Buhari Reveals Total Amount In COVID-19 Donation Accounts
President Muhammadu Buhari has commended Nigerians and organisations for their financial and material support, he also revealed the total amount in the five bank accounts designated for the COVID-19 contribution.
The president in a statement released through his spokesman, Garba Shehu, appreciated the likes of Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, Guaranty Trust Bank and ThisDay Newspapers and Partners among others in several states and Federal Capital Territory for their support in providing isolation, treatment and laboratory centres.
EFCC To Re-Arraign Orji Kalu Again, After Supreme Court Nullifies Former Ruling
Earlier it was reported that the Supreme Court had nullified the conviction of a former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu.
The court further nullified the judgement against his firm, Slok Nigeria Limited and Jones Udeogu, a former Director of Finance and Account of Abia State Government.
Covid-19: Edo State Shut Down Popular Place, Lagos Street
The immediate closure of a popular place in Edo state, Lagos Street, an epicenter of trade and commerce in Benin, has been ordered by the Edo State Government to check the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the state.
This was announced by the special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie.
