Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo‘s dream is just about to be fulfilled as the English Premier League club, Manchester United have hinted on making his deal with the club a permanent one, Daily Mail reports.

It could be recalled that Ighalo was in January signed on loan from his Chinese club, Shanghai Shenhua, to play just for a few months in Old Trafford.

This online news platform understands that Ighalo’s loan spell will end on May 31 and United must make a fast move to renew the terms if they truly want the striker to remain with the club.

Meanwhile, reports had it that Shanghai Shenhua are making plans to be paying the Nigerian footballer a sum of £400,000-per-week should he decide to return to the club.

On the other hand, Daily Mail reports that the ‘Red Devils’ are also keen to welcome back their goalkeeper, Dean Henderson from his loan at Sheffield United.

However, COVID-19 pandemic may affect Manchester United’s decision on whether to make Ighalo’s signing permanent to allow the previous deal elapse without renewing it.
