Following the suspension of Edim, also from ward three, a member of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Efa Nyong Esau, alongside other sixteen were suspended by a team led by Edikan Eno-Obong Tom.

Naija News learnt that the party chairman was suspended for alleged insubordination and been disrespectful of the party National Working Committee members.

On the other hand, Hon Eta Nyong Esau was said to have encouraged those behind the suspension of the party Chairman, alleging that his apartment was used for the illegal meeting.

“That Hon Efa Nyong Esau and his cohorts are the ones behind all the fake allegations and the labels with impunity against the State Party Chairman due to jealousy, bad faith and hatred for Ntufam Edim Inok Edim,” says the report.

However, Nyong on Wednesday (today) revealed that those behind his suspension are not recognized members of the exco in the ward but those recruited by the embattled Chairman.

He said, “Those boys were assembled by the Chairman of the Party who was suspended by legally recognized exco members of the ward. The Chairman gave them two thousand naira each after the hatchet work. I have already consulted my lawyers.”

In another report, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has berated the All Progressives Congress (APC) for comparing the ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s tenure with that of President Muhammadu Buhari.
