The Lagos State government led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has discharged fourteen coronavirus patients.

Naija News reports that the fourteen coronavirus patients in Lagos were discharged from isolation centres in Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial city on Monday, May 4.

This online news platform understands that the fourteen coronavirus patients were discharged after testing negative twice for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The newly discharged, according to a tweet by the Lagos State Ministry of Health (LSMOH), were six females and eight males.

Naija News reports that by the 14 COVID-19 patients on Monday, this brings the total number of discharged coronavirus patients in Lagos to 261.

The weet reads: “14 more COVID-19 Lagos patients; 6 females and 8 males, all Nigerians were today discharged from our Isolation facilities at Yaba, Onikan, LUTH & Eti-Osa (Landmark) to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 7 from Onikan, 2 from IDH Yaba, 4 from LUTH and 1 from the Eti-Osa (LandMark)Isolation Centres have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19.

“With this, the number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos is now 261,” the ministry tweeted.
