COVID-19: Lagos Discharges 22 More Coronavirus Patients

Lagos Releases List Of 88 COVID-19 Vaccination Centres

Lagos State has discharged twenty-two more coronavirus patients who have been treated and tested negative in its facilities.

This was confirmed in a statement on Saturday by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is also the incident commander in the state.

The Governor during his update disclosed that those discharged include 8 females and 14 males. who were treated at the Yaba, LUTH, and Lekki isolation facilities.

This brings to 247 the number of confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.

The Governor’s statement reads:

“Good people of Lagos,

“Today, 22 more persons; 8 females and 14 males, all Nigerians were discharged from our Isolation facilities at Yaba, LUTH & Lekki to reunite with the society.”

“The patients, 19 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital, 2 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 1 from our Isolation facility at Lekki were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.”

“This brings to 247 the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.”

“As we look forward to more great news in the coming days, I implore you all to support our offensive against the disease, the Use of Face mask #MaskUpLagos, Social Distancing and regular Hand Washing will help break the chain of community transmission. Take responsibility for yourself and your community.”
