Coronavirus: Sokoto Govt Confirms Five New Cases

The Sokoto State government has confirmed six new Coronavirus cases in the State, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 33.

The development was announced by the state government in a post on its Twitter account.

The tweet reads, “5 new cases, three deaths confirmed.”

“As of 01, May 2020, total confirmed cases-41”

“Active cases – 33, discharged-1, deaths-7.”

“Let’s keep praying, and stay home.”

Meanwhile, in Nigeria, the total number of confirmed cases as of May 1 is 2170.
