Kano State Government has confirmed the deaths of two COVID-19 patients in the state.

The development was confirmed in a tweet on the official Twitter account belonging to the state Ministry of Health in the early hour of Thursday, April 30.

The Ministry revealed further that Kano State now has in total one-hundred-and-thirty-nine confirmed cases of Coronavirus following the 24 new cases of COVID-19 credited to the state in the report by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday night.

Kano State COVID-19 death case now rises to a total of 5, Naija News understands.

Meanwhile, Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government of abandoning the state in its current situation.
