U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that he never considered trying to delay the November 3 presidential election because of the coronavirus.

“I never considered changing the date, Why would I do this? “He said at a press conference in the White House gardens.

A few days ago, his Democratic opponent Joe Biden predicted that the Republican billionaire would do his best to postpone the polling date.

“This is just fabricated propaganda,” replied Mr. Trump.

Confined to his home for more than a month, targeted by a charge of sexual assault, the Democratic candidate for the White House Joe Biden remains little audible in a country centred on the crisis of COVID-19, despite a series of strong supporters, with, Monday, the powerful leader of Congress, Nancy Pelosi.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi announced Monday in a video message that she is supporting Joe Biden as the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate for the November 3 elections.
