Ex-Liverpool FC Striker, Robinson Dies

Club heads, sportsmen, football player and fans today mourn the death of former England club player, Michael Robinson, who reportedly died after suffering for a skin cancer he was diagnosed for about two years ago.

The former Liverpool FC player dies at the age of 61, Naija News understands.

The death of the renowned pundit was announced on the microblogging site, Twitter, by his relative who noted that he will be dearly missed.

The tweet reads: “With tremendous sadness, we inform you of Michael’s death.

“It leaves us with a great emptiness, but also countless memories, full of the same love that you have shown him.

“We will be eternally grateful to you for making this man so happy. He never walked alone. Thank you.”

Reacting to Robinson’s death among others is Real Madrid player, Sergio Ramos, who described meeting the legend as being lucky.

Ramos tweeted; “Michael Robinson met Paqui’s son, and I was lucky to meet Michael Robinson.

” My love to your family and friends. D.E.P. You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

On his part also, former Arsenal coach, Unai Emery while expressing his condolence to the demise tweeted; “D.E.P Michael, my condolences to all your family and friends.”

“We will miss you very much but your legacy and your stamp, marked by your smile and your accent, will continue walking, accompanied by the world of football and sports. A big hug wherever you are.”

Meanwhile, Naija News had reported earlier that English authorities have decided to resume the Premier League.
