After 47 days of confinement, the Arsenal Gunners resumed training on Monday. The London club is the first Premier League team to return to the pitch during this coronavirus crisis.

More than a month and a half ago, Arsenal was the first team affected by the coronavirus. After the Europa League match against Olympiacos, several players and staff members were quarantined. Mikel Arteta, the club’s coach, even tested positive. 47 days later, the Gunners are also the first team to return to training. This is to prepare for the recovery, which should take place on June 8.

Through these photos, we see the players arriving at the training centre.
