Nollywood Veteran, Yomi Obileye Is Dead

The Nigerian entertainment industry, on the early hour of Friday (today), lost another veteran who had for a while battle a yet to be revealed sickness.

Reports reaching Naija News at this time confirmed that actor, Yomi Obileye, has died on April 24, 2020.

According to the report, the Nollywood veteran who features in the popular movie, ‘Hostages’, dies after he had gone through pains from an undisclosed ailment.

On his part, renowned actor and comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, who confirmed the death of the veteran, took to his Instagram to pay him a tribute, expressing the good memories the deceased have left behind.

Adeyinka wrote: “If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane, we would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again. “

“Rest In Peace Uncle Yomi Obileye. Thanks for the memories.

He added, “I can’t help but want to watch “HOSTAGES” again. Sleep well Egbon and may God give your family and fans the fortitude to bear the loss.”
