The Nigeria Governors’ Forum has fixed tomorrow, April 22, 2020, to hold its sixth teleconference meeting over various responses to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic across Nigeria.

This was made known in a statement on Monday by the NGF spokesperson, Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo.

The Governors Forum, in the scheduled meeting, will review the COVID-19 situation and the various measures taken by state governments at various stages of the virus’ incursions into Nigeria.

According to Bello-Barkindo, the meeting would also deliberate on palliatives to the most vulnerable in society as well as how the federal and state governments were collaborating on the pandemic and the type of assistance that President Muhammadu Buhari would be rendering to states.

Bauchi, Ogun, Lagos and Oyo States are also expected to share their experiences with the rest of the country.
