Just In: CNN’s Richard Quest Contracts Coronavirus

Cable News Network (CNN) presenter and journalist Richard Quest have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).

Richard Quest disclosed this in a post on his Twitter handle on Monday.

He, however, said he has only experienced a few symptoms of the disease.

“I have caught coronavirus; I’m blessed I have few symptoms: just a cough.

“I’m saving my thoughts and prayers for those less fortunate, stay in and protect lives,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, the Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led Lagos State Government will from next week commence the enforcement of wearing of face mask in public places.

This was disclosed on Monday by Sanwo-Olu during at the 7th briefing on coronavirus (COVID-19) at the State House, Marina, Lagos.

According to the governor, tailors have been contracted to make one million face mask, which would be distributed to Lagosians this week.

Speaking further, the governor said patients who lie about their travel history will be prosecuted.
