Coronavirus: PDP Condemns Gov. Bello Over TV Interview

Governor Yahaya Bello‘s appearance on Channels Television on Sunday has been described by the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State as a show of shame.

The party in a statement released through Director Research and Documentation of the party, Achadu Dickson, on Monday, noted that the governor’s silence would have been better rather than exposing himself over the unpreparedness in fighting the COVID-19.

PDP noted that no efforts have been put in place by the state government in the fight against Coronavirus in Kogi State.

The opposition party called on the governor to bury his head in shame and continue his exercises in his gym, since that is the only government activities for now in the state.

The party described the governor and the All Progressives Congress a failure in the state.

PDP further stated that while other governors were making effort to protect their people, Kogi people are all seeking refuge in God’s tent as the state is currently witnessing the worst administration in Nigeria.
