What PDP Said About Abba Kyari’s Death
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed its deep condolence over the death of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari.
Naija News recalls that the Presidency in the early hours of Saturday announced the death of Mallam Abba Kyari.
A native of Borno State in the northeast. Kyari was a journalist and former banker, who held senior positions in some of the country’s banks.
In a statement on Twitter, the PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, asked Allah to forgive Abba Kyari’s sins.
He wrote: “My condolences @MBuhari. May Allah forgive the shortcomings of Mallam Abba Kyari, grant him Aljanat Firdausi and give his family the fortitude to bear the pains of this loss.”
The deceased had tested positive for COVID-19 on the 27th of March, 2020 and had been receiving treatment.
