Lagos Fire Service Gives Update On Airport Hotel Fire

The Lagos State Fire Service says some vehicles in the premises of the Lagos Airport Hotel were gutted by fire and not the hotel.

Naija News reports had quoted a report onAN24 to have said that fire engulfed the Lagos Airport Hotel on Thursday evening, April 9.

The report had quoted the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Fire Service, Ahmodu Shakiru, to have said that some fire servicemen had been deployed to the scene of the fire outbreak.

A few minutes after the report, a terse statement emerged, quoting the Lagos State Fire Service PRO to have said that some vehicles in the premises of the Airport Hotel were gutted by fire.

“Not the hotel but vehicles parked at the premises in which Lagos State Fire Service has put off the fire scare, please,” the Fire Service PRO was quoted to have said.
