Nigeria Records 16 New Coronavirus Cases
The Nigeria Centres for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed sixteen new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
The NCDC made this known on Tuesday night on its Twitter handle.
It tweeted: “Sixteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 10 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Delta and 1 in Katsina

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has confirmed the State’s first coronavirus (COVID-19) case.

The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, is set to discharge seven patients after testing negative to COVID-19.
The development was confirmed in a statement by the FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello.

The Commissioner of Police in Kwara State, Kayode Egbetokun, has warned all residents of Offa communities in the state to stay at home following the outbreak of Coronavirus in the state on Monday.
Mr Egbetokun noted that markets, eateries and banks will remain closed in the state in an effort to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
