Seyi Makinde Defeats Coronavirus, Tests Negative For COVID-19

The governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has defeated Coronavirus, testing negative For COVID-19.

Naija News reports that Governor Makinde, who was infected with Coronavirus has now tested negative twice for the virus and has been discharged.

This online news platform recalls that the Oyo State Governor announced on March 30, 2020, that he has tested positive for Coronavirus.

However, in a series of tweets on Sunday night, April 5, the Governor said he had now tested negative twice.

NCDC Confirms 8 Fresh Cases Of Coronavirus Infection In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of eight (8) new cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in Nigeria.

Naija News reports the breakdown of the development which was confirmed in a tweet by the NCDC in a tweet on Sunday, has it that five of the cases are in Lagos, two in the FCT and one in Kaduna State.

This brings the total current number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 232.

Coronavirus: Lagos Government Confirms Six New Cases

The Lagos State Government have confirmed six new cases of Coronavirus in the state.

The development was revealed by the Commissioner of Health in the state, Akin Abayomi, on Sunday on his Twitter account.

He further stated that the new confirmed cases have brought the total number of positive cases in the state to 119.
