Leader of the deadly terrorist group, Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has in a now-viral audiotape challenged the people of Chad into battle following a victory recorded by the Chadian Army against the sect on Saturday.

Naija News had reported earlier that the dreaded Boko Haram sect suffered a major setback as troops of the Chadian Army recorded a massive victory against them after launching a bombardment against them in their hideout.

The army troops on Saturday, April 4 destroyed five bases of Boko Haram hideouts and recovered hundreds of assorted weapons, Naija News gathered.

In the audiotape obtained by this online news platform, Shekau was heard saying in the Hausa Language that people of Chad should vacate the land that their stay in the country is not approved by Prophet Muhammadu.

The statement reads: “People of Chad, leave us alone, this operation is not approved by the Qur’an. It is not the will of the Prophet Muhammed but if you want to continue, God will help us too because he is bigger than you.
“To my fighters, take heart. It is I, Abubakar Shekau, your leader.”
