Two people have been reportedly killed, one severely injured in a recent attack in Kaduna State.

According to the report by the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, some unknown faces invaded a solidarity meeting at Jagindi Tasha, a community in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State and murdered two-persons instantly, while one other person sustained injuries.

The incident which reportedly happened inside the residence house of a former District Head of Jagindi, Mr Danlami Barde, had him killed alongside one of his siblings.

The development was confirmed in a statement by the Chairman of Jema’a Local Government, Peter Averik, who further disclosed that security operatives has been informed and had since been mobilized to the area.

Averik, however, urged the community people to be at peace as security men are already investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, efforts to hear from the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige prove abortive as he could not respond to his calls when reached by the NAN.
