English Premier League side, Arsenal, have shown interest in signing Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen during the summer transfer window.

According to French outlet Le Quotidien du Foot, the North London side have joined other Premier League clubs Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United, in the race to sign the Lille striker.

The 21-year-old since his arrival at Lille has been at the top of his game and the Gunners are looking at replacing their captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with the youngster.

Aubameayang’s present contract with the Gunners is set to expire in 2021 and the club has not opened contract talks with the Gabonese.

The likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan have shown interest in the striker and Arsenal might be forced to sell him to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

If Osimhen moves to the Emirate he would become the third Super Eagles player after Nwankwo Kanu and Alex Iwobi to play for the club.

Osimhen has 18 goals in 38 appearances for Lille this season.
