COVID-19: Nnamdi Kanu Reveals What Coronavirus Will Do To Nigeria Presidency

The presidency has shut down rumours that Mallam Abba Kyari has been sacked as the Chief of Staff to the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

In its response to the rumours making rounds on some social media platforms, the presidency urged the public to disregard the news on Kyari’s sack.

Earlier, some platforms had started parading information that President Buhari had sacked Mallam Kyari as his Chief of Staff and appointed former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi as his replacement.

However, Bashir Ahmad, personal assistant on new media to President Buhari noted on Twitter that its all fake news.

He wrote: “Yet another fake news started trending on some WhatsApp groups that ‘President
@MBuhari sacked Mallam Abba Kyari and replaced him with former Gov. Abiola Ajimobi’, disregard and dishonour it, entirely untrue!”

Naija News recalls Mallam Kyari last week Tuesday, tested positive with the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. He began his treatment and isolation in Abuja immediately but has been transferred to Lagos for further medical attention and hinted on resuming work ‘soon’.
