Abiodun while speaking with newsmen during the inauguration of the Isolation Centre in Ikenne, Gov Abiodun said the lockdown will now take effect from Friday.

He further stated that he has spoken with President Buhari on the decision and asked him to give residents of the state time to prepare for the lockdown.

He said, “Mr President has graciously granted our request.”
