Breaking: Dangote Coronavirus Test Result Revealed

Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has announced that he has tested negative to the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).

The billionaire businessman disclosed his test result in a post on his Twitter handle on Sunday.

Dangote also said he is leading a group of private sector leaders in supporting government efforts to tackle the disease.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted modern society, affecting our collective health and well-being. As a global citizen and business leader, I took the COVID-19 test and the result came back NEGATIVE,” the tweet read.

“CACOVID (Coalition Against COVID-19) is an initiative that I am leading with other private sector leaders&our common goal is to support ongoing Government initiatives with our resources in the fight against Covid-19. We are in this together & I am optimistic we will overcome.”

Naija News recalls that the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Muhammad Babandede had tested positive for the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).

This was made known by the public Relation officer of Immigration, Sunday James.

He revealed that the Comptroller General had gone on self-isolation since he returned from the United Kingdom.

James said: “As a top official of government he has adhered to the NCDC instructions to self-isolate and undergo test.

“The result of the test came out positive, hence the need to make it public. He conveys his goodwill to all and he is in stable condition responding to treatment.”
