COVID-19: Buhari Approves Freedom Of Prisoners, Gives Exceptions

Due to the widespread of Coronavirus epidemic in Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has consented to let go of some individuals from correctional centres to reduce congestion which may likely have an impact on the global epidemic in the country.

It is understood that President Buhari had recently constituted a Presidential Committee for the decongestion of the Correctional Centres across the country.

The Special Assistant on Digital Media to governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Muritala Adigun on Friday, March 27 was served with a letter of termination from office following an untrue report on social media that the state government has brought in some Coronavirus test kits.

Supreme Court Takes Final Decision On APC’s Request To Review Zamfara Judgment

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has dismissed a request by All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party for a review of its May 24, 2019 judgment in the intra-party dispute in the Zamfara APC.
