Gov Sule Raises Alarm Over Regrouping Of Boko Haram Members In Nasarawa

A team of the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has on Wednesday, March 25 visited the home of Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State to check his health status and also take a sample of him for confirmation on Coronavirus disease.

The Nasara State Director General, Strategic Communication and Press Affairs, Yakubu Lamai,  confirmed in his statement that the governor has since gone into self-isolation and would only work from home at this time as a precautionary measure against exposure to the deadly Coronavirus attack.

According to him, the general public would be updated on when the governor’s test result is finally determined by the NCDC, adding that the health status of other government officials in the state too would be revealed.

Meanwhile, Naija News had reported earlier that five new cases of the Covid-19 Pandemic have been recorded in Nigeria with oil-rich Rivers State scoring its first casualty.

There are now 51 confirmed cases of the deadly virus in the country.
