A current Nigerian Senator and former governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Adamu caused a little stir during plenary on Tuesday 24th March as he removed his face mask to sneeze.
The Senator who represents Nasarawa West Senatorial District and also chairs the Senate Committee on Agriculture was caught in the act live on camera.
The sneeze came while Senate Leader, Yahaya Abdullahi was officially communicating the news of the death of Rose Oko, senator representing Cross River north to the lawmakers.
As Senator Abdullahi sneezed, there was an outburst of laughter from other senators and those close to him quickly adjusted their face masks.
The action also forced Senator Abdullahi who was addressing the lawmakers to pause his speech a few times until calm and normalcy was returned to the chamber.
Senator Abdullahi also quickly put his mask back in place.
