Coronavirus: Test Result For Trump’s Wife, Vice-President And Wife Confirmed

There has been a sigh of relief after US First Lady, Melania Trump tested negative to the dreaded coronavirus disease after the result of the COVID-19 test on her was concluded.

Similarly, the COVID-19 test result for Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen Pence have also been confirmed.

The result was made known to CNN by White House press secretary, Stephanie Grisham on Monday.

“Mrs. Trump got tested the same night as the President was tested, out of an abundance of caution. The test was negative,” Grisham said.

Naija News understands US President Donald Trump and his wife were tested at the White House on March 13, more than one week ago.

The result of the tests carried out on the US Vice President and his wife after it was discovered that a member of the vice president’s staff had been confirmed positive for COVID-19 also came out negative.

The entire world has been worried about the COVID-19 outbreak which has threatened economies and normal living styles as health experts continue to race against time to find a solution to the coronavirus disease.
