Police Arrest Man Who Raped 6-Year-Old Daughter In Plateau

The Commissioner of Police in Plateau state, Mr Isaac Akinmoyede on March 18 disclosed that its command made an arrest of two middle-aged men over an alleged rape.

Speaking in Jos on Wednesday, the CP revealed that the two men, 27 and 20 years of age respectively were nabbed on two separate rape cases in the state.

Naija News understands that one of the suspects was arrested for allegedly having carnal knowledge of his daughter on March 8.

Giving an update on the arrest, Akinmoyede said, “A case of defilement was reported at Laranto Police Division by one Shaibu of Shagari Corner in Jos North Local Government Area, against one Isah Abudullahi living behind Islamic School at Bauchi Road, aged 27, who defiled his daughter, aged six.”

“Similarly, on March 13 at about 11 am, a woman reported to the police that she discovered that her granddaughter, who is four years old was defiled by one Isaac Boniface (20), living in the same compound,”

According to the CP, the two culprits have confessed to the crime and are currently under investigation by detectives adding that they would be charged to court.

He added, “the six-year-old that was defiled by her father and the four-year-old who was defiled by a neighbour have both been taken to the hospital for medical examination.”

It could be recalled that a 52-year old landlady, about two weeks ago was drugged and raped by a 19-year old boy at Ilesan Remo area of Ogun state.

The crime was said to have taken place on Sunday, March 1st, after the suspect who lives with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adelena in a rented apartment, conceived the idea to sleep with the landlady in order to satisfy his sexual desire.
