Breaking: 5 New Cases Of Coronavirus Recorded In Nigeria, Confirmed Cases Now 8

Five new cases of the coronavirus disease have been reported in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases in the country to eight.

This was confirmed on Wednesday by the Minister of Health, Ehanire Osagie during a press conference in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

All 5 cases had a travel history to the UK/USA

It is understood that all the five new cases had a travel history to the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Four of the cases are from Lagos State and one in Ekiti State.

The Minister, however, advised the public to remain calm as all necessary actions have been activated to tackle the outbreak.
