The Union of European Football Associations, UEFA, is reviewing the plan to see the Champions League and Europa League finish in just four days due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in Europe.

Naija News had earlier reported that the Champions League and Europa League fixtures have been postponed.

The quarter-final draw which was scheduled to be held on Friday has been cancelled following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The date for the fixture is yet to be fixed as all the major league in Europe, including the English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1 have all suspended their domestic fixtures until April.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the football body is considering if it would be possible to play the semi-finals and the final within four-days in Istanbul.

The proposal would also apply to the Europa League, with the final due to be held in Gdansk, Poland.
