Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday, March 16 has hailed the good leadership of the House Speaker, Mr Mudashiru Obasa over his ability to handle current feuds within the house.

The lawmakers made good remarks about the house speaker most especially for his ability to control the unpleasant situation rocking the House over a few days now following the removal of two principal officers and suspension of two other members.

Naija News understands that the lawmakers also lambasted and described baseless a petition which was written against Obasa by Comrade Buna Isiak to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC.

They noted that the plan to purchase a Toyota Prado Jeeps as against a smaller car, Toyota Fortuna for the speaker was a joint agreement between all lawmakers in the statehouse.

On the other hand, the Lagos Legislators Forum, an official body of all former lawmakers of the State House of Assembly has urged Obasa to “ensure that peace reigns, so as to sustain the standards of diligence and good image that the State legislature is noted for since the creation of the state.”

Speaking on behalf of the forum, Ipoola Omisore hinted that the body at its monthly meeting noted with concern the development and urged the parties involved to reunite themselves and let all go well for the best interest of good governance in the state.

Meanwhile, Naija News had reported earlier in another news that President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the victims of the Abule-Ado explosion in Lagos state which occurred on Sunday.
