The Little Mistake And Internal Disagreement That Made APC Lose Bayelsa And Edo States Won't Happen In 2023 - Giadom

The Acting National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Victor Giadom, has revealed members of the party will respect the intervention of President Muhammadu Buhari over the crisis rocking the party.

Recall that Giadom had led the National Working Committee last week insisting that an emergency National Executive Committee meeting will hold today (Tuesday).

However, the acting secretary has reverted his plan following the intervention of President Buhari that saw the meeting suspended.

Giadom while reacting to the President’s intervention said, “the decision of the President, who is the leader of the party and in that regards the NEC meeting slated for 17th March has been postponed indefinitely.”

“The party will respect the intervention of Mr President,” he added.

Giadom while speaking on the new date for the NEC meeting said, “the public and members of NEC will be informed of the new date, but as for today and agreement with the President, the NEC meeting is postponed.”

Recall that a High Court in Abuja on Monday granted an interim order declaring Giadom as the acting National Chairman of the party.

This happened few hours after President Buhari had intervened in the party crisis, postponing the emergency NEC called by Giadom.
