Dele Momodu Under 'Attack' Over Comment On 2023 Elections

The former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, on Monday received popular media mogul, Dele Momodu at his residence in Lagos.

Recall that the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria was granted freedom after the high court in Abuja ruled in his favour and he is now based in Lagos State.

Momodu while speaking on his visit to dethroned Emir of Kano noted that the former Emir was not bitter about his situation but was in high spirit.

He further stated that the former CBN governor is ready to begin his intellectual and humanitarian pursuits.

Momodu who took to his Twitter account wrote: “I spent some quality and illuminating time with the former Emir of Kano MUHAMMADU SANUSI II this evening. He was in high spirits and exhibited no bitterness whatsoever.”

“He has chosen to keep himself busy with humanitarian and intellectual pursuits. I wish him well.”

Meanwhile, the former spokesperson of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has noted that the affection of the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai to the dethroned Emir is a “strategy” for his 2023 presidential ambition.
