The former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central senatorial district, Shehu Sani, has revealed that the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, is no longer neutral in the crisis affecting the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole.

Senator Sani stated this while reacting to the former Lagos State Governor’s comment on the plan to remove Oshiomhole as the chairman of the party.

The former Governor of Edo State, Oshiomhole, has been at loggerheads with some members of the party who wants him out of the way.

There are claims that Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi; Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo; former Edo state governor Oserheimen Osunbor are all out for the removal of Oshiomhole.

Naija News had earlier reported that the South-South chapter of the party endorsed the Acting National Secretary of the party, Victor Giadom as Oshiomhole’s replacement.

The South-South leaders and other members of the party also insisted that APC’s National Executive Committee, NEC, scheduled for Tuesday, must hold.

However, the national leader of APC broke silence on the crisis within the party and warned against the plan to remove Oshiomhole.

Senator in his reaction on Twitter wrote: “ASIWAJU has jumped off the fence, ended his silence and neutrality and fired a barrage of cruise missiles from the Atlantic into Berlin.”
