The deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi on Friday, departed Nasarawa State in the convoy of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

This is coming after the visit by Kaduna State governor, El-Rufai who visited the dethroned Emir in Awe, Nasarawa State earlier on Friday.

As at the time of filing this report, it remains unclear where his next destination will be as no official communication was given to that effect but our correspondent gathered that Sanusi may be on his way to Abuja and then Lagos State.

Before leaving Awe in Nasarawa State, Sanusi led the Friday Juma’at prayers in the town.

It will be recalled Justice Anwuli Chikere of the Federal High Court in Abuja earlier on Friday, granted an interim order releasing deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi from confinement/detention.

He ordered the immediate release of dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi from confinement/detention in Nasarawa State.

Meanwhile, Governor El-Rufai has noted that the former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, can go anywhere, including Kano State.

This he stated while speaking with newsmen in Awe, Nasarawa State, on Friday, noting that a federal capital territory high court has ruled that Sanusi can go anywhere.
