Reports reaching this news platform at this time reveals that a secondary school student suspected to be a cultist has pierced another student in his school with an axe.

It was reported that the horrible act happened at a Government-owned secondary school in Calabar, the capital city of Cross River State.

A source revealed that the culprit had smuggled in an axe into the school and attacked his fellow on his head during school hours and took to his heels.

However, following the arrest of the culprit and others involved, a command has been issued by Mr. Castro Ezama, Special Adviser on Education to Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade that the alleged cultist group be presented to the anti-cultism unit, a security section of the Cross River State Police Command in Calabar.

Ayade who calls for further investigation and possible prosecution noted that Cross River State will not accept every form of anti-social acts in states educational section.
