Sanusi’s Wife, Children Arrive Awe In Nasarawa State

Naija News reports that one of the wives of the dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, has just arrived Awe, Nasarawa State.

According to information gathered, she arrived in the town around 11:15 am on Wednesday with three of the deposed Emir’s children.

They arrived in a white Infiniti SUV with tinted glasses amidst heavy security protection by mobile policemen and officers of the Department of State Security.

The security operatives rode in two Toyota Hilux vans with Kaduna State Government number plates.

According to reports monitored on Daily Trust, the residence where the deposed Emir is staying is being guarded by no fewer than 30 heavily armed security personnel.

It will be recalled that the Kano State government on Monday, removed Sanusi as Emir of Kano State over allegations of gross insubordination to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and other constituted authorities.

He was banished to Nasarawa state, initially arriving in Loko at the early hours of Tuesday morning but was subsequently moved to Awe later in the day.
