DR Congo’s Minister of Health, Eteni Longondo on Tuesday announced that the ministry has recorded its first case of Chinese killer disease.
Eteni in a statement delivered today, March 10, confirmed that a Belgian citizen who entered into Dr Congo a few days ago has been tested positive to Coronavirus.
According to the minister of health, the victim of the killer virus was confirmed with the disease in the capital Kinshasa, the largest city in French-speaking Africa.
He, however, noted that the patient has been confined to a hospital.
This was coming a few moments after Naija News reported that the Union of European Football Associations, UEFA, is set to suspend Champions League and Europa League as part of the measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
