Premier League Suggests New Date For Man City Vs Arsenal Clash

English Premier League has suggested next Wednesday as the new date for the clash between Manchester City and Arsenal.

The Gunners were expected to face the Premier League champions at the Etihad last Sunday, but it was postponed because of the Carabao Cup final.

According to UK Mirror, officials of the league are looking at next week’s Wednesday as both clubs have a free midweek.

This will be Mikel Arteta’s first return to the Etihad after he left to take over the managerial work at the Emirates in December.

A decision on the new date is expected in the next 24 hours, with City keen to avoid a fixture pile-up at the end of the season.

The North London side will clash with West Ham on Saturday, while City is away at rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
