Fani-Kayode Backs Nuhu Ribadu To Emerge New NSA

A former minister of aviation in Nigeria, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has praised Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state over his stand not to negotiate with bandits in the state.

It will be recalled that Gov. El-Rufai during a visit to the attacked communities in Igabi and Giwa LGAs said he would not negotiate with bandits rather deal with them.

Naija News recalls suspected gunmen on Sunday stormed the Igabi and Giwa Local Government Areas of Kaduna State and killed over thirty people, several others were also injured during the attack.

The villages that were attacked by the gunmen suspected to be bandits are Kerawa, Rago, Marina, Zariyawa, Hashimawa, Gidan Musa Saidu, and Unguwar Barau.

During his condolence visit to the people of Kerawa, Zariyawa, Hashimawa, Wazata and other communities in Igabi and Giwa local government areas, El-Rufai promised to deal with the bandits.

Reacting, to the statement by the Governor, Fani-Kayode commended El-Rufai for refusing to negotiate with the bandits.

Taking to Twitter, Fani-Kayode, a PDP chieftain wrote: “Yesterday El-Rufai did two things which gladdened my heart. Firstly he took responsibility and apologized for failing to protect those that were killed by Fulani herdsmen on Sunday.

“Secondly he said that he would NOT negotiate with terrorists but rather send them to their maker. Kudos!
