President Muhammadu Buhari has told Nigerians not to panic after a case of the coronavirus disease was confirmed in Nigeria.

The President notes with sadness, the recent confirmation of a case of Covid-19 infection in Lagos, Nigeria which he said was “despite the ardent efforts of the government regarding preparedness and response measures put in place in our country’s borders and beyond.”

2. Buhari Govt Reveals How To End Boko Haram Insurgency

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said only embracing unity and de-emphasis ethnicity, religion, social status can end Boko Haram.

Mr Segun Soyoye, the Industrial Director of Lafarge Plc, has revealed that the company invited the Italian who brought Coronavirus to Nigeria.

10. Man City Win Carabao Cup

Manchester City won the Carabao Cup trophy for the third season running with victory over Aston Villa on Sunday.

Sergio Aguero hit the opener for City at Wembley, before Rodri doubled their lead 10 minutes later to put Guardiola’s charges in a commanding position.

Mbwana Samatta then pulled one back just before half-time to keep Villa in the running but that wasn’t enough as City ran out as eventual winners.
