In what has been described as inhuman and attempt to make life unbearable to citizens, Nigerians have reacted on a post on the social media which shows a ridiculous amount a pharmacy in Lagos State allegedly sells their hand sanitizer, following the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease.

The reactions started after Nigerian Activist and Lawyer, Segun Awosanya, popularly known as SEGA LINK on Twitter shared a photo of a Pharmacy in Lagos which placed N19k price tag on their hand sanitizer.

As seen in the photo shared by the activist, the pharmacy sells its hand sanitizer at the rate of N19,950.

Reporting the high price Hand Sanitizer, Mr Awosanya posted; “Like? It’s just a difficult thing being truly Christian and a business person at the same time. Outrageous profits. I’ve been ranting in my status since. 500ml Enliven sanitizer that we use to bathe sef for free at work is 19k in medmark? We are our own enemies – Man! Pathetic.”

Naija News understands that since the emergence of the virus in Nigeria, pharmacies and medical stores have taken advantage of the situation to make huge sales as sanitizers and disposable face masks have been reported to be a safety measure against the killer virus.
