Senate Begins Screening Of Buhari's Ministerial Nominees

The Nigeria Senate has condemned the Federal Government for not taking steps to prevent the dreaded Coronavirus disease from entering Nigeria.

This is coming after the Deputy Leader of the Senate, Robert Ajayi Boroffice, revealed that loose arrangement he noticed at the Nigerian airport upon his arrival from South Africa.

He called on the relevant authorities to do more especially in its effort to screen visitors coming into the country.

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, while speaking on the situation noted that other countries with better medical facilities than Nigeria are doing everything to prevent the disease.

However, the Federal Government, responding to the threat of Coronavirus has released the sum of #600m to prevent the disease in the country.

The dreaded disease which broke out in the Southeast of China has killed over 2,801 people; with cases reported in parts of Europe and the United States of America.

In a related story, citizens of Kenya are furious with their government, after the Kenya government permitted an airline from China to land in Nairobi.
