Aisha Buhari Gives Fresh Order To Military Over Insecurity

Aisha, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has urged Nigeria security agencies to re-strategize and re-examine the nations security structure in a bid to curb terrorism.

The First Lady made the call while speaking on Monday at an international conference on state and security heald at the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna.

While warning that Nigeria may face worse security problems, Aisha Buhari called for collaboration among all security agencies.

She, however, urged the Buhari-led Federal Government address issues of welfare of security personnel.

“Security in Nigeria remains the biggest challenge, it is high time to explore new strategies and approaches,” Aisha said.

“If care is not taken, we will be expecting the worse of the security problems we are facing in Nigeria.”

She also urged Nigerians to always share important information to security agencies in order to halt terrorist attacks.

“All criminals are members of our society and they live in our midst, parents have the responsibility of ensuring that we take exceptional interest in the development of our children,” Aisha Buhari said.
