Ondo Council Approves Olugbenga Ojo As New Oba Of Isinkan

The Governor of Ondo State Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has approved the declaration of Tuesday, February 25 as Public holiday in the State.

The Governor, while granting the approval said the Public Holiday is necessary for the State to welcome the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The President of Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari is expected in Ondo state Monday (today) for the commissioning of the Ore flyover and industrial park as part of activities to mark the third anniversary of the administration of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in office.

The chairman of the anniversary planning committee and Commissioner for Finance, Mr Wale Akinterinwa made this known during a news briefing to highlight various activities for the anniversary.

Akinterinwa represented by the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo said the 11-day activities will end on Friday, March 6 with Mr Governor’s dinner with High Network Individuals of Ondo state origin in Lagos.

The Governor then expressed appreciation to God for the journey thus far and urging all to take advantage of the period to participate fully in the series of activities lined up for the Anniversary celebrations.
